Choose the right boot drive 

 

Here are some of the steps that you can follow to get rid of the error of No Bootable device in Mac;

 

  • You will first have to force shut down your Mac device and for doing so, you will have to press the power button for a couple of seconds. 

  • Now, you will need to power on your device and then you will have to press and hold the option key on the keyboard. 

  • Then, leave the key when the startup manager option will appear. 

  • Now, you will have to simply select the startup disk and then choose the Arrow icon and finally press the Return button. 

  • This will help your Mac device to boot and after that, you will have to go to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Startup Disk.

Erase Bootcamp partition and install windows

  • First of all, you will have to boot your Mac just like we did in the previous method. 

  • Now, for launching the app, you will have to go to the Finder > Applications > Utilities > Boot Camp Assistant

  • Now, you will have to choose to Remove Windows 10 or a later version and then simply click on the Continue button. 

  • After that, you will have to click on Restore if your Mac has a single disk. 

 

Now, here are the steps that you have to follow if you are looking forward to installing Windows in the boot camp partition;

 

  • Click on the continue button after opening the Boot camp partition

  • If there is a single internal disk, then you have to click Windo ISO image. 

  • Now, simply move the driver between Windows partition and Macintosh for selecting the partition size and then choose Install. 

  • After that, you will just have to follow the instructions that will appear on the screen. 

  • When the installation will be finished, Mac will restart using Windows 

  • Finally, follow the instructions to complete the installation.
